If you reached here, then you probably are interested to read a few more lines about me. 
I'm Olga Chernykh, a Ukrainian film directed born in the heart of the east of my country in a city of million roses and coal – Donetsk, which is occupied by Russia since 2014. 
I have a Master Degree in Cinematography and in Documentary Filmmaking. My film "A Picture to Remember" opened IDFA in 2023 and won a Heart of Sarajevo for the Best Documentary. I'm a member of European Film Academy, Association of Documentary Filmmakers of Ukraine and a senior consultant of Documentary Association of Europe (DAE). I'm a Berlinale talents alumnus, recipient of Akademie der Kunst fellowship in Berlin and a participant of numerous international workshops and residency programs, such as IDFA Academy, IDFA Project Space, Bergman Estate residency, "Aristoteles Workshop", B2B Doc.
My recent film “The Illusion of a Quiet Night” is currently on a festival circuit, so hopefully you can catch it up in your city or online soon.
